It’s never been more important to provide a safe environment to travel in, and to rebuild people’s confidence in travelling with others. To ensure that people can travel in safety and comfort, we carry out regular risk assessments and have implemented social distancing measures in line with government guidance.
Our dedication to safer travel begins before the bus leaves the depot, with improved cleaning regimes using highly tested antibacterial products. Additional cleaning is carried out throughout the day, paying extra attention to high traffic touchpoints like buttons, handrails, and poles.
We’ll also work with you to ensure we provide enough services for everyone on board to keep a safe distance.
Clear signage is displayed on each bus to ensure that everyone knows where to sit, and to remind them of social distancing procedures - including the mandatory wearing of face coverings.
We encourage the use of cashless payment options, adding another layer of safety, ease, and flexibility to every journey.
While these regulations certainly help, they’d mean nothing without the support of our staff. We provide regular briefings, ensure inspections take place, and give extra training to make sure everyone is confident we’re offering a safe, reliable service.
